MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY

RE: APPOINTMENT OF THE NEW ELDP COORDINATOR

I am pleased to inform you that Ms Anita R Tagadiad is hereby appointed Coordinator of the Educational Leadership Development Program (ELDP) effective 01 November 2011 until 31 October 2012.  The ELDP is an outreach unit of the School of Education.  I congratulate Ms Tagadiad for this appointment and thank her for her availability.

I wish to thank also Mr Oscar F Carzada for his work as ELDP Coordinator since it started in 2008.  During his leadership, the ELDP accomplished several leadership training programs to capacitate public and private school teachers of Basic Education in Western Mindanao.  In partnership with the Ateneo Center for Educational Development (ACED), Jollibee Foundation, and Pilar College, ELDP with the support of the School of Education and the Center for Community Extension Services (CCES) embarked on an adopt-a-school program that covered the public schools in Sangali and Talisayan.
