The BS Biology program provides students with a strong science foundation with emphasis on structure-function relationship in living things, and making meaningful connections between and among living things and their environment. The program consists of an extensive treatment of the core courses in biology and its science electives. Such strong foundation is tempered by a wide liberal arts education. This program can serve as preparation for a medical course or for any of the allied medical courses. It can also serve as preparation for students who wish  to pursue a  teaching career or a career  in  science and science research. At the end of four years, BS Biology graduates can engage in any of the following enterprise; research, medical school, or graduate school (MS or Phd), teaching in the secondary or tertiary level, laboratory assistants, industry (Biotechnology), or consultancy.
