Raymond F. Bader, after high school graduation proceeded to UP Los Baños in Laguna to finish his BS-Agriculture in 1972 and continued with his masteral studies in Horticulture in 1979. After his PhD in Plant Breeding at the Texas A&M University, College Station in Texas in 1985. Raymond returned to the Philippines and became a faculty of the UP Colleges of Agriculture, Arts and Sciencces and Graduate School in 1986. He was also connected with the Ayala Agricultural Development Corporation in Makati. In 1996, he became Project Coordinator with the Davis, Kearney Agricultural Center of the University of California. Today he is the County Extension Director of the Texas Cooperative Extension of the Texas A&M University System in El Paso Texas, USA.
