MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: A WORD OF THANKS
The past few days culminating in the launching of our Centennial Jubilee Year have been quite an awesome and amazing experience for the entire AdZU community and our friends, alumni, relatives of our students, benefactors and all who support us. I would like to thank profoundly all of you who participated in the events and especially those who worked so hard for the successful celebration of our opening ceremonies.
I would like to single out the Centennial Jubilee Committee, the administrators, faculty, staff, students from the tertiary level, High School and Grade School, the liturgical team, Social Development Cluster, El Consejo and student organizations especially the Association of Religious Organizations, Blue Blades, Imaje, PE students and Communication students, the workforce in the Physical Plant Office, the security group, Ateneo Alumni Association, university clinic staff, liturgical choir, AdZU Concert Band, documentation and photographers, College Campus Ministry, parents of our students, CPVA dancers, design and decor group, President’s Project Office, Auxiliary office and the University Archivist. I also thank the Archdiocese of Zamboanga, our friends, benefactors and other partners such as the City Mayor and other local government officials, government offices, law enforcers and the Philippine Air Force 3rd Division.
I saw for myself a collective effort and enthusiasm of our community to celebrate our Centennial Jubilee Year as memorable and merry as it can be. Indeed God has visited again his people. For this, I am very grateful to each one.
Thank you very much and congratulations to all. May God bless you always!
