Living or Leaving Tradition?
The Catholic Identity of Jesuit Universities in the Philippines
This is a research project of four Jesuit Universities in the Philippines:
Ateneo de Davao University, Ateneo de Naga University, Ateneo de Zamboanga University, and Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan). The study aims to determine the levels of knowledge, attitude, and practices of students and faculty of each Ateneo in the following elements of Catholic Identity:
- Content of the Catholic Faith
- Spirituality and Prayer
- Life, Morals and Practices
- Faith and Justice
- Community Rituals and Stories
It also aims to determine how the different sectors - students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community view the Ateneos as Catholic Universities.
