| FIRST-YEAR FORMATION PROGRAM (FFP)
This program seeks to promote the basic principles of Jesuit Education, provides adequate preparation for the student’s entry into college life, and facilitates processes where the students may imbibe the values of academic excellence, psycho-social and spiritual growth, socio-political maturity, respect for the dignity of persons, concern for the environment, and commitment to service. As part of the requirements for graduation, FFP is a 1.5 unit course per semester for two semesters intended for first year students and transferees.
The program also takes care of the integration of social orientation programs into the curriculum. It aids in either the organization of outreach undertakings, the processing of experiences, or the handling of formation sessions of the students who go out for practicum to contextualize the theories they have learned.
NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM (NSTP)
This is a government mandated program which offers an expanded option for the ROTC Curriculum. It is in line with the school’s thrust of forming persons not just with competence in their filed of interests but also with the conscience and commitment to be of service to society. NSTP is aimed at deepening students’ knowledge, appreciation, and experience of citizenship and of their chosen field through community service.
CAMPUS CONSCIENTIZATION EDUCATION PROGRAM (CCEP)
This program takes care of raising the consciousness and promoting sensitivity of the university on pressing social issues and events including crisis situations. This is achieved through issue advocacy, seminars, for a, symposia, and the like. A mini-library including vertical files is being maintained for materials on social issues which are not usually found in other libraries.
GENDER AND DEVELPOMENT PROGRAM (GAD)
Gender concerns are crucial engagements under this program. Advocacy in gender issues are done in collaboration with other government and private agencies in the city. A core of gender advocates (Gender Task Force), composed of Faculty, Staff and Students is being sustained by SACSI. Seminars and workshops are regularly conducted under this program. Gender sensitivity modules are integrated in the formation programs and selected curriculum of the university.
ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM (EP)
Environmental issues are crucial engagements under this program. The program takes care of providing opportunities and venues for information, education discussion, critical reflection and sustainable involvement of the Ateneo de Zambaonga University in environmental concerns. Environment camps, seminars, workshops and advocacies are regularly conducted for Ateneo and other Private and Public schools in the city.
VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (VP)
This program handles the formation and training of students, faculty and staff who assist in the promotion and propagation of values and principles necessary for "a life of dedicated service"..
SPECIAL PROGRAMS
QUICK RESPONSE MECHANISM (QRM). When a crisis occurs and an urgent action is needed, SACSI is there to do advocacy work and to organize and mobilize for assistance and support to the people affected.
ELECTORAL PROCESS . Since NAMFREL existed, SACSI has been serving as its Nerve Center in region nine.
EHEM! SENSITIVITY WORKSHOPS IN DEEPENING INVOLVEMENT IN COMBATING CORRUPTION. Workshops on Sensitivity towards corruption is one of the core programs of SACSI. This workshop is given to students, faculty, and staff of the Ateneo and the employees and officers of government and private agencies.
SOCIAL TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH. SACSI also organizes Trainers’ Trainings and workshops as part of the Ateneo Faculty and Staff’s formation program.
SATURDAY CHILDREN AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (SCAYDEP). This program is created to mediate in the growing need of orphaned children and out-of-school youths.
