USO was officially created on July 2009 under Ateneo De Zamboanga President Antonio F. Moreno SJ;
The first University Security Chief was Mr. Roy I. Lorena and was succeeded by Mr. Francis Jay S. Llenado on June 2012 until April of 2018.
