AdZU gets Green Light from CHED to Reopen Face-to-Face Classes for Nursing

The Ateneo de Zamboanga University has been awarded the authority for Gradual Reopening of Limited Face-to-Face classes for its BS Nursing program!

The Accrediting Team, led by Commission on Higher Education OIC regional Director Rody Garcia, conducted a thorough inspection of AdZU’s facilities and health protocols to ensure the safety of students and faculty alike.

Part of the Accrediting Team were experts from the Department of Health, Inter Agency Task Force, and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

CHED OIC-Regional Director Rody Garcia granted the certificate to University President Fr Karel San Juan SJ during a quick program. VP for Higher Education Fr Rene Tacastacas SJ and College of Nursing Dean Lorna Paber were also in attendance.

In pursuit of quality education, AdZU has reviewed and implemented strict health protocols inside the campus to ensure the safety of the students. The face-to-face classes for our future nurses ensure high quality healthcare workers ready to take on any challenge guided by Ignatian values and spirituality.

“…You are here to help us precisely achieve those objectives; to better our systems, our protocols and processes.”

Father President in his message thanking the accrediting committee– AdZU’s partners in the endeavor.

Congratulations and God bless, Ateneans!
