CITS conducts Work Immersion programs for SHS students

Determined to promote inclusive and sustainable development for all, AdZU’s Center of Information Technology Services (CITS) partnered with Vitali National High School and conducted a ten-day work immersion for their Senior High School (SHS) students.

The work immersion program was initiated for the students to gain firsthand work experience be involved in actual hands-on activities that will help them fully develop their skills. To help them realize their full potential as 21st century workers, CITS’ own staff personally offered their time and expertise to the students.

Senior High School students from the Technical Vocational and Livelihood (TVL) Strand in Computer System Services were divided into groups of ten, totaling to seven (7) batches. The program began last August 20, 2018 with the first batch of SHS students and shall continue till the end of December 2018.

More than just providing the technical necessities of the university, CITS also does their part in helping the youth to ensure a better future for the city.
