Computer Science Department Sponsors a Google Women Techmakers Workshop

Participants of the Public Speaking Workshop

The Computer Science Department sponsored a Google event on Public Speaking Workshop headed by the Women Techmakers Ambassador and at the same time a faculty of the department, Ms. Fe Grace Tubog.

The goal of the workshop was to develop the public speaking skills of the participants. The Resource person, Dr. Dorothy Joann Lei Labrador-Rabajante, shared with the participants the different methods, and strategies on writing and delivering a speech.

Dr. Lei is is a faculty of Ateneo de Zamboanga University under the School of Education. She has been a national trainer in the Philippines for teacher development programs since 2009 organized by various non-government organizations. She is also a global master trainer for international trainings on the Universal Prevention Curriculum for Substance Use. She finished her doctorate degree, Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Psychology from De La Salle University – Manila.
