After two years of disruption, the Formation Office was able to conduct the annual “Days with God” among some of the staff of the University’s Central Services Units. The recollection sessions were given in four batches at Nuestra Senora del Pilar Retreat and Lay Formator’s Center at Brgy Mercedes, Zamboanga City during the months of March, April and May, 2022.
With the theme, “I am Here, I am Ever with You!”, the modules focused on how God is present in the lives of the participants amidst the on-going pandemic crisis. It also addressed psycho-spiritual matters especially on the effects of the pandemic on the mental health of each one.
A big part of the recollection was spent on quiet reflection and sharing among the participants which was something they looked forward to as they were eager to listen to each other’s experiences throughout this pandemic.
The recollection ended with a Holy Mass and a sumptuous lunch to cater both the physical and spiritual hunger of the participants.
