Grad Students conduct exhibit and TED Talk for Child Development

Ateneo Graduate students majoring in Early Childhood Education take it up a notch with their exhibit cum TED Talk showcasing animated tools and instructional materials dedicated to boost the holistic and maximum development of preschoolers.

The exhibit was divided into 3 areas targeting different developmental domains of a child: Psychomotor; Cognitive and Language; and Socio-Emotional.

"Each domain targets an aspect in the development of a child. It is hoped that this exhibit will not only promote fun and interactive learning for preschoolers but also aid Early Childhood Education teachers in preparing fun, non-threatening, developmentally appropriate, and high-yield activities for their kids in the classroom," according to the class representatives in a joint statement.

Their mentors for this exhibit are Ateneo Graduate School's Prof Carmelita S Jumalon for Methods of Teaching-Creative Arts for Early Childhood Education and Prof Fe S Delantar for Educational Materials and Media for Early Childhood Education.

Two thumbs up for these teachers for taking this task to heart and keeping up with AdZU's tradition of excellence!
