The Social Studies Department aims to develop the students’ skills and abilities in critical thinking, cross-cultural understanding, intercultural dialogue and responsible leadership that are geared towards social transformation, sustainable development, peace and good governance through our various curricular and co-curricular offerings.
The Social Studies Department also aims to inculcate in the students the Ignatian values which are vital in forming productive and responsible leaders with a deep understanding on relevant social, cultural, political and economic issues that affects their community, Mindanao, the Philippines and the world at large.
